Dr. Sanusi is a board-certified neurosurgeon who completed her residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She earned a Tier II Honors degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and received her medical degree from the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for her academic excellence and exemplary character.
Following residency, Dr. Sanusi pursued a fellowship in skull base surgery at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. There, she trained under a distinguished lineage of experts, specializing in the treatment of complex skull base tumors and refining her skills in endoscopic surgical approaches within a multidisciplinary care team.
Dr. Sanusi’s clinical expertise includes the management of skull base pathologies such as clival tumors, sellar lesions, acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, cavernomas, vascular abnormalities, and other brain tumors. She integrates advanced technologies in her surgical practice, including neuromonitoring, fluorescence-guided surgery, neuro-navigation, and minimally invasive endoscopic techniques for both benign and malignant tumors.
Outside the operating room, Dr. Sanusi enjoys swimming, cooking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants with her family.
