$15,000 Research Funding Opportunity for Graduate Students and Postdocs

The Dana Foundation is dedicated to advancing neuroscience that benefits society. Through their commitment to fostering inclusive and innovative research, they are now accepting applications for the Dana Neuroscience & Society Trainee Research Awards—a unique funding opportunity designed to support small research projects that explore the connection between neuroscience and society.

Graduate students and postdoctoral trainees at U.S.-based institutions are eligible to apply for up to $15,000 USD in funding. These funds are meant to support projects that help us better understand how neuroscience intersects with real-world issues and societal impacts.

Eligible research areas include (but are not limited to):

  • Surveys & Questionnaires

  • Interviews & Focus Groups

  • Case Studies & Conceptual Analysis

  • Case Law & Policy Analysis

  • Systematic Reviews
